Overall Personality: Abaddon is the oldest child in his family, giving him a lot of the typical oldest child traits. He's mature for his age, causing him to spend most of his time with older students. When he was a first year some of his best friends were in their fifth, sixth and seventh. When those students graduated, he retreated into his anti-social shell. It takes a lot to get Abe to open up with new people, but once he does there is no end to the absolute love that pours out. When he has a best friend, he will do anything for them. It can sometimes come across as clingy, but it's more because he has learned a long time ago that he cannot trust most people. When he does find someone that he can trust, he doesn't like to let them go.

He has an interesting relationship with his parents, there are days when he will do anything for them and other times when he would rather just be alone. Pretty typical for a boy his age. He could have a wonderful time with his mother and father, but the second either of them try to talk about Albus or Aberforth he usually clams up and starts to be very sarcastic with them. He wants to be known as more than just a Dumbledore, and because of this constant comparison, he usually keeps his life secret from them.

No one in the world knew about his same-sex thoughts until Raina. When he had been getting the worst of the bullying for being a bit more sensitive and being quiet, people went straight for the fact that he had never had a girlfriend. His reaction to the teasing cemented it for this tormentors and gave him even more ammunition. He attempted to date a girl to make them leave him alone, and chose the most beautiful girl he knew. Raina Amsel.

Raina is his best friend and the only person who he can really be himself with. When they're together Abaddon is very silly, very warm and very loving. He has a feeling that when the time comes that she falls in love with someone else he'll have to back off, but for now, they're a dynamic duo.

Overall History: "So you want to know my history? Well alright. I suppose I should start with my father. Most people want to know about him anyway. They're always curious how my last name came to be. According to family legend, my grandmother was a bartender at The Hog's Head Inn. My grandfather was Aberforth Dumbledore who owned the place. From what my dad says, they were desperately in love but never managed to make a relationship happen. When Aberforth died, he did so without knowing about Aimery in her belly. Not sure if I believe all that. Towards the end of her life my grandmother's mind started to go. She started talking about when she would get bored and sleep with her boss to get out of work. I've never told my father about that. Figured it would be best to just let him have his happy story about how his parents loved each other.

"Anyways, when my dad was twenty he met my mother. She's an Italian witch who he met on vacation in Nice. Apparently it was a grand whirlwind romance that resulted in a wedding after three months. They tried hard for children, but apparently they were plagued by negative pregnancy tests and even a handful of miscarriages. When they were in their late twenties, a divorce was looming over them. They didn't know how to be a family without children, and even though they loved each other, it seemed like a possibility. It was Valentine's Day when they decided to try again. I'm not sure if it was the magic of the evening, or the vast amount of wine that they drank, but they refound that romance.

"Guess it worked, because nine months later yours truly was bouncing into the world. They decided on the name Abaddon, hoping to continue with the A name tradition in the Dumbledore line.

"Growing up in England was pretty nice. My parents doted over me, making sure that I had the best of the magical worlds and the muggle worlds. We went to museums and parks. Would listen to music at concerts and explore the deepest parts of Diagon Alley. When I turned four, I was given a very special birthday present. My mom was pregnant with my little sister Aria. I loved her instantly and wanted to be able to watch out for her always. When she was born, I don't think I could have been more proud. She was wonderful and loved, and I watched out for her.

"When I was around six, I had my first sign of magic. Aria was two and she got out of our backyard and wandered into the woods around our property. My parents were frantic trying to find her, they told me to stay at the house while they searched, but I wandered to the edge of the forest. The next thing I knew, I was with Aria in the middle of the forest. I held my sister close and we shouted for our parents to find us. When they did, they had no idea how I got there. When I told them what happened, they were excited for me. They explained that I was a wizard.

"The very next day we went to Diagon Alley and I was allowed to pick out a pet as a present. I picked out a small black kitten named Barosa. Clearly since Aria was safe, she was allowed to have a pet as well. We got icecream together and enjoyed the beautiful day.

"When I was eleven, my parents and Aria brought me to the train station and I started on this adventure. By the second day, I hated it.

"People started to tease me for being a Dumbledore, for wearing glasses, for being short, whatever they could come up with. I counted down to the summer, but managed to find some friends. They were all older than me and thought of me as a baby brother. They were mostly fifth, sixth and seventh years. Whenever someone would tease me, they would swoop in take me away. When I was a third year, the last bit of my friends had graduated. The tormentors had years to make up for and I seriously considered dropping out of Hogwarts. I hoped that with the Triwizard Tournament there would be too much excitement going on to bully me.

"That was when I met Raina, I asked her to the Yule Ball to get the bullies off my back and she was amazing. We clicked together and it was amazing. We stayed up the whole night talking about what was going on for me, and she made me an offer. She would pretend to be my girlfriend, and I would be her picture perfect boyfriend to get her older brother off her back.

"When the year was over, she asked me to transfer to go to Durmstrang with her. It took a little bit of begging with my parents, but they agreed. That following September I was a fourth year Bergen student, my wonderful best friend in the same house as me, but a year older. We paraded our relationship around, most students thinking that I was some sort of a god for dating the flawless Amsel girl. The harsh tormenting didn't follow me and for the first time I was able to look forward to going to school.

"This summer I'm heading back to England to see my sister and parents, but I'm also hoping to spend lots of time with Raina in Russia before I go."
