Jun Gi Han was born forty one years ago in 1984 in the South Korean city known as Seongju, which is an agriculture county in South Korea. Jun was the the four child in his family, which was rare in Korea since most family only had up to two because it is so expensive to send the child to school, however Jun had an advantage over that. Jun was born to a pureblood magical father and a muggle mother, both of whom were very wealthy and fell in love at a young age. Jun had three elder siblings and two younger siblings, all of whom were blessed to be magical like their father. All of them, however, were sent to a muggle school to begin learning at a young age so they would be prepared for school when they were sent to a magical school outside Korea.

Jun was not sent to Hogwarts like thing had been planned, since he would have started in 1995 and his parents feared of terrible things happening due to the return of Voldemort. Instead, they sent him and his siblings to Salem in hopes to keep them away from as much of the horror as possible and they were happy with the choice since a few years later, a war broke out between death eaters and others at the school. Jun was sorted into the Aylward house and did all of his schooling there. Jun had a passion for the younger students and would help them in many of their studies. After he graduated from Salem, he traveled some and helped his father at their home. Since his father was a man blessed with fortune and so was his mother, he was sent to a university to help him further his career. Finally, he began to focus on his studies as a wizard and even thought about what he wanted to do with his life in the wizarding world.

At the age of 28 years old, Jun went and applied for a position at Salem and Hogwarts, but was denied due to him not being needed and all their positions being filled at the time. However, upon arriving back in Korea, his was met with wonderful news from his father. A new school was opening in the northern area of South Korea and it was a magical school. Jun and his father were extremely happy and went to a meeting for the future school. Jun's father, Seung, was a pureblood who gave money to the school when it first began building to help with expenses, but he didn't agree with their sorting ceremony. Seung had attended Hogwarts starting in 1970 and was sorted into Ravenclaw. The man had met the parents of Harry Potter and many of their friends, but he was never extremely close to them since he didn't stay in London after school was over. The idea of separating students based on blood status worried him, but he was not able to change their minds at all on the situation.

As soon as it was built, which was around when Jun was 31, he applied and was accepted as a teacher who taught transfigurations, which was something he excelled at during his time at Salem and had studied more after he finished school. During his first five years, he watched as pureblood students got away with many things and set about trying to become the headmaster of the school. When Jun was thirty eight years old, he was given the position deputy headmaster and still taught his classes like normal. It was rumored that the reason for this was to keep the half-blood families and muggleborn families happy, but Jun saw it as a way for a stepping stone. One more step to changing a school, even if it was already set in it's way after only a decade.
