Leo is the only child of Damion and Veronica Yaxley. They are your typical pureblood family. Damion and Veronica were set up young. An arranged marriage was the normal thing in their lifestyle and they made it work. It took a couple of years but soon enough they finally had their perfect baby boy. A boy was just enough to keep the pureblood line going and the young couple didn’t see a need to have another. Therefore, Leo became the center of their attention.

Damion went into the Ministry and Veronica took on the job of a full time mother and socialite.

Everything was handed to this family. They both came from old money and lots of wealth, so long as they abide to the laws their family set up for them. They took Leo to all the posh parties and important events. They dressed him up in the latest clothing and gave him everything he asked for. He was a very fortunate child growing up, and surprisingly enough, it didn’t turn him into a spoiled brat like those around him. Since birth, Leo had an independent gene he actually received from his mother. He couldn’t care less about the life put in front of him. He liked playing around, getting dirty and most of all reading. It was honestly the only thing to keep the young boy quiet and out of trouble.

Growing up, Leo had always been a curious fellow. He was ambitious from the start and his ambition was to poccess as much knowledge as he could get him hands on. What he was going to do with this information? Well at the moment, nothing but as the years go on, he was going to use it to climb the ladders of success.

Leo liked to question everything. He always spoke up and out of turn. It landed him in trouble majority of the time but his Gramps Warrington thought it showed promised. Not to mention he had a fire in him to do what he wanted to do. He moved through the motions showing leadership and a work ethic advance, so long as no other children were around. It didn’t take long for his parents to notice this of him and indulge him.

He grew up with many tutors for company, no more outside connections. It was school work and culture to set apart the young Leonardo. He was always in a book even through his years at Hogwarts. He studied constantly and used that knowledge and a mix of charm to get what his way or get out of trouble.

That was what Leo was good with. He was good with words. He knew how to act and how to speak with certain people to earn him favors. The help adored him, the public praised him, and his parents ended up worshipping him. He was supposed to make Yaxley a well known proper name. Everything was planned out, except for the fire building up inside of him.

Freedom was what he craved and Hogwarts gave him that. It was his second home like many students. There he could be whoever he wanted. His true nature came out. Slytherin was his house but the boy was more independent than ever. He spent his time doing what he wanted. And luckily enough, classes were where he wanted to be. He took them seriously but he spent his spare time exploring and not so surprisingly getting into fights. He knew what o say to get someone to like him, but many times, when he wasn’t watching himself, which was many times, he knew what to say to press someone’s buttons. And buttons were his favorite to play with.

His marks made up for his behavior and so did the money his family possessed. But when he got older, he began to learn his own beliefs. He actually isn’t into the whole, someone else planning his future/list. He wanted to control and he wasn’t going to live the pureblood way. There were many who he liked to associate with who were looked at as beneath him. He indulged his family and follow their rules at the moment. Leo is smart. He knows upsetting them would land him with nothing. Leo is currently in his sixth year and has found himself playing the pureblood life until the day he graduates and inherit all his father has promised. Once that would be in his possession, the jig would be up and he will be on his own path.

Leo’s school years haven’t been too exciting. He lived like any rich boy would. He got into fights, studying to earn his marks (a bit out of character for a rich boy), and began figuring things out. He doesn’t know exactly where he stands, but at the moment, his parents’ lives are not what he wants.
