Jonathon Apollo Watson
Jonathon Watson was born seventeen years ago in a small town outside of London. His mother was Angel Smith and his father Parker Watson. They were like any other mundance muggle family. Jon grew up surrounded by books. His father was literature professor and his mother, an aspiring author. It was the inspiration for his name and his parents thinking they had a sense of humor. He was slightly named after his father’s favorite Sherlock Holmes character and his middle name was derived from his mother’s current inspiration for her first actual published book on Greek mythology. His mother now is currently looking into fiction writing which Jon has been carefully not to be her inspiration.
Jon was, of course, homeschooled and taught many things. He grew up to be a bit antisocial and shy, and when ever he would speak, it would be a fact and come across as him being a know it all. He didn’t branch out a lot and ended up like his parents, lost in books and a constant flow of words.
Not much magic was involved in their lives until Jon was frightened. Being a small child and especially a sheltered one, it brought around many larger and meaner characters by. Well a large group decided it was Jon’s day of attention. Needless to say the bullies ended up in a locked dumpster and Jon hidden in his closet cuddling his teddy bear. No one would say what happened, but it was obvious something strange happened. Not much happened again until the owl presented itself one day. His mother shrieked. His father tried to shoo it out until they noticed a letter. A large and strange letter. They opened it and threw it away. It was a joke right? No more of that.
A couple of weeks went by and another letter came. And then another, and another. Finally they caved and decided to indulge a little. They followed the instructions, without Jon, of course, and opened a whole new world. Someone met with them and explained the circumstances to them. Jon Watson was a wizard and was being accepted to one of the highly recommended schools. Not much could be said than to follow suit and give Jon what was best. So Jon spent his summer before his first year exploring DIagon Alley. He loved everything about it. But it made him stay quiet and try to stay out of the way.
First year came and he was branded the know it all. He never had been in school and hardly socialized. He craved knowledge and was always reading and learning. Many of his dorm mates thought it was wrong that, he, a muggle born, and a push over and shy kid was placed in their house, Slytherin. But nobody knew the ambition he held. They didn’t know he was going to do whatever he could to be accepted somewhere.
Time went on and the small little kid began to grow. And grow, I mean by his seventh year, the kid was 6’2”. Jon also managed to move out of his shell. He began talking to people and interacting. He always said what was on his mind and continually studied. His parents in the muggle world were rich and it was no problem transferring it into wizarding money. He had all the best stuff and always in line with his house mates. It helped them be friendly, but nobody really cared for the muggleborn. It didn’t bother him too much. He accepted it a while back.
At the moment, Jon is finishing his seventh year. He is actually pleased and content with his life. His scores are high and he spends his time getting ready for training. A few years back he decided he wanted to be a healer. Ironically enough, he was living up to his namesake. He is planning his life carefully and making sure he isn’t about to miss a thing. He wants to live, but he doesn’t want to mess up things. He’s a teenager.
