John is a pretty normal guy of his age. He has his interests, specifically Quidditch and playing the guitar. He also enjoys swimming for physical exercise and for fun, and likes to hangout with his wife. He also enjoys traveling to other countries and learning about new things. Due to his experience with abuse first-hand, he doesn't like yelling or aguments and tends to be taken advantage of in some regards because he doesn't like confrontation. He tends to run away from his problems despite being an understanding guy. He's very intelligent and was nearly sorted into Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin, but his charming demeanor tends to sway people in his favor and he can get things done if need be.

Overall History:

John was born to Apollo and Adora as their first child at St. Mungo's. As a child, he was taught the lore of Voldemort and exposed to dark magic. His family practiced the Dark Arts openly and most 'normal' families avoided his parents. He got a reputation himself from being their son, of course, though he did not share their views. This often led to John's disdain for his parents, but also to his physical abuse brought on by both his mother and father. His father took care of the harsher punishments, but, still, his mother was prone to slapping him.

As much as John tried to fight the fact that he was related to his parents, feeling as though he wasn't like them at all, there was a part of him that was very much like his father in that he was charming and able to get the things he wanted if he tried hard enough. His father resorted to disturbing ways of getting his desires, which John never did, but there was still a connection there that made John mad at himself. His sorting into Slytherin house only made that connection much more visible to him. Thankfully for him, it seemed that Slytherin's reputation of having sly and manipulative people was overstimated. There were many people who learned from their parents' mistakes and he found a few friends that, like himself, discovered there was more to life than dark magic and pure blood.

John's intelligence served him well and he scored top grades through all of his years at Hogwarts. He met many friends, female and male, and made girls swoon with the playing of his acoustic guitar. Although John had a few girlfriends, in his sixth year it was apparent that he would never be able to seek love on his own. His parents put him in an arranged marriage with the daughter of their friends who were also involved in dark magic. Thankfully, he and his wife share similar beliefs. He hasn't completely fallen for his wife, but he does love her and protect her from harm, and they are trying to conceive a child to establish their family further. John recently took up the Flying position at Hogwarts and moved him and his wife to a small house in the outskirts of Hogsmeade, so that when they do have a child, he can always be near his family.

He and his wife avoid both sets of their parents.
