Overall Personality: Kind hearted, daring and just a little bit impulsive Lara has been pushing her limits since she was a young girl. With an open mind and a knack for getting into trouble, this little Gryffindor has almost out worn the phrase curiosity killed the cat, she dreams of adventure but instead of falling prey to idealism, this little Gryffindor is going to make her dreams reality. Determined and incredibly stubborn it takes a lot for her to change her mind, she’s never given up easily with enough nerve to keep her determined spirit in line with her goal.

With that in mind, she’s somewhat ambitious, and just a little bit pragmatic about her options, she’s never used the word sensible to describe herself as, but she is realistic and knows the amount of work she’ll have to put in to reach her goals. Sociable and friendly by nature, Lara’s a caring individual with all the time in the world for her friends, protective she relies on her quick wit to not only defend herself but her closest companions with. However she isn’t without her own insecurities, sensitive and just a tiny bit to empathetic she’s quite fragile and could be very easily broken if handled without some sense of caution. She tends to bottle up her feelings until they reach bursting point, not an angry person by nature - she’s far to patient for that - when she finally allows her anger to bottle over it’s a memorable occasion .

History:
Born to half blood family, Lara’s parents - Kevin Crescence and Lydia Crescence (nee Salinger) had both attended Hogwarts in their youth. They met during school and stayed together, forging careers out of their passions. Just before they both hit thirty the couple fell pregnant and nine months later came along Lara. She was a happy child, one that enjoyed exploring the family garden with her dog Gillie, and listening to the exciting myths and legends her mother would tell her before bedtime. As she grew the family did too and Lara found herself as the big sister to two twin brothers. Finally at the age of seven she began showing signs of magic, she’d been climbing the big tree in her back yard and when a branch broke instead of plunging to certain peril she simply floated gently to the ground. Her mother had watched the whole thing frozen with horror but had been nevertheless overjoyed to see her darling daughter show traces of their magical heritage.

Hogwarts finally came for the young Lara and off she went with an excited heart and a curious mind. The hat deliberated whether to send her to Raven claw - for her passion for the unknown and learning, or to Gryffindor for her never and sense of courage. Gryffindor finally won and her first few years in the Lion’s den went without much complaint, she gained a group of close friends and was an above average student. She enjoyed most of her lessons except for potions, which she generally struggled with, she did however excel within ancient runes and even managed to gain an E (There was no way she’d have managed an O) in her OWLS. Finally NEWT classes arrived and with a career path in mind she selected the classes she needed and began her studies. Generally she found the first year of NEWT studies hard, but she battled on and now in her seventh year she’s determined to gain a decent set of results when the exams finally roll around.
