It wasn't until she took off her coat and threw it over the nearest chair that Roxy was noticed by the two guys playing pool. She threw the puffy, warm coat over a chair near the pool table and put a couple of knuts down on the edge of the pool table. "I'm in for the next game." She gave the men a quick wink and headed to the bar, placing an order. Roxy's order was paid for and received and so she headed back to the table closets to the pool table where she'd thrown her coat. The winner of the two men was setting up for the game and Roxy took a sip of her rum and coke. She watched the guy set up and when he was finished she took another sip of her drink and placed it on the table.
Now Roxy never said she was any good at pool and she never said she was terrible at the game, truth was she was better than all right but not anywhere near professional level. She could hit the balls into the pockets most of the time providing it was a good shot but bouncing balls off the edges was a little more difficult for the red-head, still she enjoyed the game, so much so that she'd probably spent more time around the pool table than she had at lectures and such. The winner of the last game tossed a coin and Roxy called heads. It landed tails and the winner, some guy that introduced himself as 'Ross', made the break, getting a stripe into the corner pocket, well that made Roxy solids.
The game went on and Roxy wasn't sure if the guy was about as good as her or if he was just lucky. He got the lead on her a few times but in the end the 8 ball was sunk by Roxy when it had been neck and neck, no other balls on the table, excluding the cue ball. Ross went on his merry way, passing a flirty comment at Roxy. She waved bye to the fellow, picked up her rum and coke and took a sip. She placed the glass back down on the table and looked out to the guys. "So who's next?" She asked, waiting for her next opponent to step forward and challenge her to a gam of pool.
