In a lot of ways, Summer is the stereotypical Ravenclaw; she's book smart with a passion for reading that makes those in other houses truly question her sanity, she actually likes attending classes and doing homework, and she has a tendency to prefer the company of books to actual people. However, when she does make friends, she is loyal and caring, willing to drop just about everything to help them if they're in need. Because of this loyalty, she tends to have a serious problem with people trying to hurt her friends, and while she may not be the most willing to take up the offensive against them, she'll certainly help back up those who do. In addition to this, she tends to be greedy, hoarding not only material objects, but her friends as well. She tends to be a tad possessive, though not to obsessive levels, and has the tendency to feel a little jealous when her friends are hanging out with other people. She's also the kind of person who tends to be just a tad impulsive, which is unusual for a Ravenclaw, often reacting before she thinks something completely through.

Overall History:
Sixteen years ago, on April 23rd, Loki and Nirvana Macnair welcomed a little girl into the world, one that they named Summer, and one who completed their little family of four. Growing up, both her and her older sister, Isabella, were schooled frequently on the same teachings that their grandfather had believed in, and being a death eater, that meant that purebloods were of a different class than everybody else, that they were a superior race because their bloodline was untainted. Even from a young age, Summer was eager for knowledge, and drank in everything her father offered. When she was old enough to start reading more "grown up" books, it was rare to find her without a book in hand, reading in her favorite window seat overlooking the back yard or under one of the trees standing in their back yard. When she was ten, her sister got her Hogwarts letter, and while she was excited for Izzy, she couldn't help but feel a little sad. After all, the two girls had become close, and Izzy had always been more popular with the other kids around their home than she had. She was popular enough, and had enough friends, but it just wasn't the same. Still, she managed nine months without her sister, and the following year, received her own Hogwarts letter. Where she was sad only the year before, she was now excited and anxious for the next year to start. 

Much like her sister, Summer had friends before she even stepped on the train, but she also made quite a few when she arrived at the school, despite her slightly anti-social tendencies. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, and feel quickly and easily into the life of living at Hogwarts. Over the next six years, Summer continued to make friends and do extremely well in her classes, except for Divination, despite the fact that some of them seemed to compare her to her sister the second she walked in the door. This quickly became something that she hated; she was her own person, why would people treat her like Iz? Still, there was precious little she could do about it, and she learned to just deal with it. It wasn't so hard, after all, she was used to being in her sister's shadow from when they were kids. Still, somehow, somewhere, she managed to find her niche, where she passed most of her OWLs, with the exception of Divination. Now, Summer has just completed her sixth year at Hogwarts, and is both excited and a little sad that her sister's leaving. While she can finally be out of Isabella's shadow, Izzy's still her sister, and she kind of got used to her sister being around.
