Friday. When did firday get here so quickly? Not just Friday but the twentieth. It was time to go home, to go to Vanersborg and see his parents. Elsa and him and Harrow. This would be the first time that they got to meet the man that he had wrote so much about to them.
Felix felt like he was scrabbling around the house. Cloths. For how long. Long weekend right. Where are the dogs? At Sparrow’s already. They had dropped the three puppies off the night before. They were leaving early. That was probably had Felix so frantic. The last time he had felt this way was when he was getting ready for his first staff meeting. That was the day he had met his fiancé. Now the two were here about to announce their engagement to his parents and then dance the weekend away around a maypole with flower crowns on.
Ferdinand. What about….right he was safe and sound with the school’s healer, Leslie. Okay so all the animal’s were in check. “Harrow….where is my jacket? The light one with the stripes and the …zip up hoodie. That one?” With a smile and laugh Harrow handed him the jacket that was making Felix go crazy.
“Tack, älskling,” Felix quickly planted a kiss on the red head and shoved the hoodie into his bag. He had everything now. Or at least should. If not he was sure that his parents would have a everything they needed and more. Felix was actually a little nervous for Harrow to see where he grew up.
“Är du redo? (are you ready?)” He asked looking over at Harrow. He started off to the living room. They would apparate to the front of his home. Elle could get there on her own and Felix would take Harrow with him. “Elsa, it’s time to go.” He called. She had stayed the night before so that they could all leave together. He hoped that he had the time difference right, they were shooting for noon. If he was wrong then there wasn’t much he could do about it but apologize and hope that his father wouldn’t be too cross about it.
Once his sister was standing next to his Felix let out a sigh and smiled. He took Harrow’s hand and looked at his fiancé, grin growing wider. This was really happening. The ring had been on his finger for a month at least but they were starting the next big step now of meeting each other’s parents.
Apperating was something Felix was very accustomed too, but that didn’t mean he thought it was uncomfortable. They landed out front of a large white Swedish manor. It sat on the bank of lake Vanern. The sun was high and it seemed that they were right on time, or at least close enough. He squeezed Harrow’s hand and looked over at the red head knowing that he was fine and in one piece beside him. Next he looked over at where Elsa should have been, and wasn't. She had to be somewhere in the country. She might not have been accepting but she wouldn't just bail. He was happy she agreed to come, she knew what it meant to him, knowing that their mother was probably going to give her all sorts of grief about what she was doing with her life. Felix would try his best to detour any of that but they had both gotten their stingy way from her.
“Here we are,” Felix said walking up to the door and knocking.
