Summer seemed to be flying by. Then again there was a lot more going on in this one summer he had done more than he had in the almost seven years that he had been in Salem. Recently he had gotten home with Harrow and Elsa. The trip to Sweden was a success. Somehow Felix had managed to get the news of his engagement to his parents and they seemed pleased about it. Next up was the trip to Washington.
First there was a some downtime, thankfully. Harrow was busy at the school doing his job with checking on the various horses that stayed in the stables during the summer. That meant that Felix had some time to kill. The puppies were absolutely mad with them being home. He had spent all morning playing with the rambunctious dogs but the three of them had worn the poor man out. He had to just get away from his loving pets.
Felix had contacted Clover, one of his old students. They could possibly catch up and he could see the baby that he had delivered for the girl. Felix still was trying to get over that one. Luckily all the excitement of planning a wedding was helping with that one.
It was a bit strange having everyone speaking English around him again. Even though it was only for a long weekend Felix had just started getting used to his native tongue fluttering about him everywhere. Now he was back in America and would have to remember that fact when he was talking to anyone one but Harrow and Elsa. Felix was even spewing a little too much of the Scandinavian language around his fiancé. Often Harrow would stare at Felix trying to translate all of it. He would cup the man’s face and plant little kisses all over apologizing.
Felix walked to Wonderland. He smiled looking at the front of the themed coffee shop. It would forever be etched into his history. When, if , he had children Harrow and he could bring the little one down to the café and tell them the story of Valentines day. There was plenty to get through first before children came into play. Unless there was something very shocking about Harrow that he didn’t know and there was already an unplanned bundle of joy on it’s way.
He walked in and got an iced coffee before claiming a small table. Felix glanced down at his wrist. He was early. That seemed to be uncharacteristically happening lately. With a light sigh he pulled out his wand. With the piece of cherry wood Felix summoned the latest book he was rereading for the fifth time. Thin fingers flipped to the page that he was on and started to read. Now to just wait until Clover arrived.
