It was strange that they were finally starting a new year of school. So much had changed since the year before. She was engaged to Nikolai and they were living together. It was going to make things a little bit different when it came to sleeping quarters during the school year, but she was sure that they could figure it out. They always seemed to figure it out.
Lana made her way outside of her office by the Care of Magical Creatures area and tacked a sign-up sheet to the front of the door for the students to fill out. Her eyes roamed over the words on the parchment once more, making sure that everything was in place before she turned and went to take care of Asa's breakfast.

Some of you may be familiar with me and I may be new to others. Either way, I look forward to working with all of you throughout the year and furthering your knowledge on these lovely creatures that we have the privilege of being able to work with. Remember these are creatures to be respected. Even the tamest of beasts has a limit where it will no longer be kind.
