Likes: Star gazing, but studying them. Nature and all creature that live in it. Music but making it, occasionally singing when alone. Rain, especially dancing (alone) in it or just being in it. Weaknesses: Potions. Protecting herself and keeping up the wall that she created. Making friends. Romance...she wants it but seems to never find it. Family...she's lost her brother, the only family she had left.
Overall Personality: Jess is very kind but hates to laugh (she thinks she sounds funny). She is very insecure and self conscious. Being a people watcher, she has seen and find its unfair that others can make friends so easy. She can be fairly skiddish and even though she loves nature, she is terrified of the dark. She is very easy to get along with, but can have a hot temper if pushed to the edge. Jess doesnt think herself as better than anyone. She isnt rich but she isnt struggling. Over all, Jess is a decent girl with a rough past that she tries to overcome.


Father: unknown. He was never part of the picture in her childhood. The only thing Jess knows about him is his last name, which is the name she was given at birth. Her mother states that her father tampered in dark magic, but refuses to divulge anything else.
Mother: Lilah Davine James. Witch. When Jess reached the age of 15, she packed her for school then when she sent her away to school, she left for good. Jess heard from her only once more, by letter. Lilah left enough money in an account to cover Jess until she was able to get outta school and got a paying job. She left Jess a letter, a ring, and left.
Siblings: Jasper. Twin brother. Ran off about a yr or so ago, having been seduced by dark magic.

Birth Place: Arkansas, USA
Overall History: Jess and her twin brother, Jasper, were born November 5th, to Lilah and their father. (Who they never knew). Soon after they were born, their father began to experiment with dark magic, which resulted in the near fatalities of the children. After forcing their father to go, Lilah moved herself and the kids to Arkansas, where she raised them, for the better part of their life, in a modest house away from prying eyes. Surrounded by nothing but nature, she taught them what she knew of magic.

When they became aware of their magical abilities, their mother took them on "field trips" to wizarding communities. They received their acceptance letter and with the help of hard work and multiple jobs, Lilah was able to send Jess and Jasper to the school. Where Jasper went, was unknown to Jess, because he ended up running away.

When Jess reached the age 15, she received a devastating letter from her mother, stating she was leaving. Enclosed was her mother's ring, a beautiful silver ring that had 2 stones, a blue and a green one. From that point on, she lived at the castle...keeping to herself.
