One of the hardest parts of her day was slipping away from Tyreese and have that flash of doubt that he would be there when she got back. That something would happen to him and she would have to deal with knowing that the man she cared for so deeply could possibly be hurt because of Parker or her family's name. She stole a final sniff of the white button up shirt that she slept in. The white shirt, rolled up at her elbows and tied at the waist. She knew that she was falling in love with the muggle man. That being away from him hurt her, that worrying about something happening to him would drive her insane. Shea unbuttoned the shirt, smiling at the sleeping man on his side of the bed. The two of them started out so slowly. They were friends, they met up with each other on some many different occasions. When he finally asked her out, it was like they spent a lifetime together.
She knew so much about them. They talked about everything until the sun broke through the sky. They fell asleep curled around each other. He still didn't know about her past. He didn't know about her pregnancy, about her father, about Alex. She didn't know how to bring it up. How to tell the man that she was desperately falling for, that she was a used up piece of trash. Once he did find out, she knew what would happen. Shea placed a quick kiss on the top of his head and tugged on some clean clothes that she had kept there. He would find out about everything, and they would be over. Shea pulled on a white dress with some red polkadots on it and fixed up her hair and some makeup. She was supposed to meet up with her editor, but had a feeling she was going to get blown off. Those higher ups at the Prophet liked to believe that their interns were just disposable pieces of nothing.
The young blonde stole a final glance at the sleeping man and left his apartment. Shea leaned against the door, taking in the sunshine of London for a second and tried to keep everything in check. She couldn't be sad over something that didn't happen yet. She couldn't be distraught over Tyreese leaving her when he didn't even know yet. She couldn't mourn the loss of the best relationship that she ever had when he was still hers. She pushed herself from the door and walked down the street, looking for that mop of light brown hair.
