Killian was born to two loving wizard parents, Richard Gavin and Chole Gavin. He had two older brothers and an older sister, as well as his twin named Ariel. The two twins were inseparable, and as time wore on, the bond between them got stronger and stronger. At the age of five, his parents started seeing that he was lacking magical powers, but shrugged it off until he was twelve, when he was confirmed as a squib. His memories of wizardry and his family were erased, and he was put into muggle foster care. Killian was spiraled throughout the system before, when he was fifteen, foster carers stopped coming with offers to foster him. Since then he has been working as a babysitter with the permission of the Foster Care staff, and has been saving up to rent a house for when he ages out of the foster care system. He won't be able to pay it, though. He's barely raised $750, so he will either go homeless, or be able to find someone to live with. He knows this in his heart, but won't give up. Killian always had OCD for as long as he could remember, and he has insomnia since his memories were erased.
