Overall Personality: Anya is a generally sweet woman. Shy and timid are words commonly associated with her. She's horrible with communication with other human beings, borderline Asperger's syndrome (it's a toss up, depending on what doctor her parents took her to as a kid. And if the doctor knew the Krum family was very wealthy, and very cruel, of course their daughter wouldn't have anything wrong with her...). She's incredibly smart with an inability to pick up even the most basic of social cues. Sarcasm is especially hard for her. Due to Anya's condition she rarely leaves her home.

Being born into a rich family Anya never really understood the value of a dollar. She can frivolously spend money without a second thought, and often spends her time enjoying the millions of dollars spent on the Krum Manor where she resides. Unlike the other Krum's in the family, she was never particularly cruel. Maybe it was because she knew how it felt to be the victim of bullying in school, maybe it was just because she wasn't born with a mean bone in her body -- she didn't know. Anya strives to be nice to everyone, maybe as a compensation for her otherwise rude family.

Overall History: Ever since Anya was a toddler, she seemed to understand that she knew more than everyone. It wasn't ignorance speaking, or her being stuck up -- it was simple fact. Anya was leaps and bounds ahead of her siblings -- even her fraternal twin Katya. It's amazing what genetics could do, and how much they differ even between siblings.

Like the other two, Anya was born in Bulgaria, but attended school at Hogwarts. She was a part of an accelerated program to better suit her intellectual needs, and graduated in her fifth year. At fifteen, a Hogwarts graduate, and too young for a job, Anya moved back in to the Krum Manor in Bulgaria, and became reclusive in to herself.

The next year for the Krum family was a hard one to say the least. Still at Hogwarts, Katya had entered a semi-relationship with her longtime friend Daemon Nott. After a night of drunken partying, Katya ended up pregnant with his child. Long hours spent talking, screaming, and crying and Anya helped Katya end up at the decision to have the child. Near the same time, Stefan had been seeing a young woman named Dominique Weasley. Anya had seen her a couple of times, she was something of a Queen Bee at Hogwarts. She seemed nice enough, but they weren't exceptionally close. A few months after Stefan had started dating her she also became pregnant. Anya wasn't sure about the details, as she heard everything second hand, weeks (possibly months) after everything had occurred. Apparently Stefan had disappeared and Niqui didn't have the baby for whatever reason.

Months later, Katya went into labor and gave birth to Savannah Milena Nott. Without Anya's knowledge, she tried to give the baby up for adoption -- which was quickly shot down by the father. Daemon gained full custody over Savannah. After this, Katya went in to a spiraling and debilitating depression. This went completely unnoticed by Anya.

A year later Katya committed suicide. It came as such a bitter shock to Anya -- it completely blindsided her. What was more surprising were the comments that came from her brother and father after. "We should have done more to stop it." "We saw the signs, should've done more." It confused Anya. She was Katya's sister. Her twin. How could they see these things in Katya when they blew right past Anya?

It's been a year since Katya's death, and Anya still blames herself for not helping. For being so blinded to it. She's been getting better, but still spends most of her days in solitude, cooped up in the opulent Krum Library. Still, something is churning inside Anya. She's begun craving the company of others once more, and may yet be daring to venture outside the walls of her comfort zone.
