Overall Personality:
Conrí is dedicated, athletic, brave, and resourceful, but also super rigorous, temperamental, callous, blunt, arrogant, and judgmental. He is not very personable, however, as he's very gruff towards everyone, and has a default mood of irritated. He's also stupidly reckless, and will never turn down a fight or challenge, no matter how dumb it is.
Looking around him, Conrí sees the world in a container-half-empty, pessimistic light. He's extremely cynical and seems resigned to the fact that the world isn't that great. He's distrustful of others in his cynicism, and has a great distaste for those who believe that "in the end, everything will be okay, and if it's not okay, it's not the end." Cheerfulness annoys him.
When it comes to social interaction, the student is very conscientious. He takes a long time to reply, as if putting deep thought into every word he says. He's very meticulous in his speech patterns, and has a pragmatic outlook on socializing. After all, he's not friendly, so why would anyone be friendly to him?
Conrí does not handle change, new situations, tough decisions, or disagreement very well. He is ridiculously rigid and stubborn, and is relentless in trying to get his own point across. Truthfully, he's narrow-minded. Almost in juxtaposition, he is very spontaneous, and has a great inclination towards sudden changes of mind or actions. He could be half-way through one action and then suddenly veer off to do something else.
The student will never turn down a challenge. He is always willing to battle or face danger, to the point where some may call him reckless. He is very daring and brave, though "chivalrous" is not a word that could be used to describe him.
Conrí is reserved, and a bit of a loner. He has no affection for other people, and is thus critical and defensive in his interaction with them. He is secretive, rarely giving away any personal information about himself, so he sometimes comes off as mysterious. Oddly enough, he is very conventional when it comes to the cultural norms of the world.
The student has a somewhat dark sense of humor. He'll never refuse a challenge, and he really, really hates to lose... at anything. He does, however, easily slip into the leadership role, even if his leadership might be a bit, well… dark. People tend to naturally gravitate to him and look for advice, despite his obvious flaws and the fact that he clearly doesn’t like people.

Birth Place:
Limerick, Ireland
Overall History:
“Pretty easy story, actually. I grew up never knowing my mam or my father. I grew up in an orphanage in Limerick, Ireland, to tell the truth, and it was hell. Apparently I got there because my mam stumbled up in the middle of the night, gave birth to me, named me, and died of blood loss two days later. She named me Desmond Neil O’Malley, which I guess was her last name, but I really don’t care.
So my life was pretty much a living hell. The orphanage was crowded, and I got bullied a lot. I tried to fight back, but the other kids were all much older. Things took a dramatic change when I turned six… literally. It was a full moon, and I was awake, as usual, on the balcony, avoiding the other orphans. I remember it like it was yesterday. The clouds shifted, revealing the moon, and suddenly… I changed. It felt like all of my bones were being broken, and my skin was being torn from my body. When it finally stopped, I wasn’t me. I was a werewolf, powerful and strong, in my natural element.
I would have gone inside and murdered countless children, had one of the orphanage staff not been a fully trained wizard. He kept me locked on the balcony, scratching and biting and hurting myself, until I became human again. He then explained to me all about the magical world, wizards, Hogwarts, and… Fenrir Greyback. We weren’t for sure he was my father until he took me to St. Mungoe’s and got my blood tested. Once we did that, though, we were sure.
He gave me the Wolfsbane Potion every month, and I hated it. I wanted to feel that raw power again. As the years passed, however, I became stronger as a human, because of the wolf’s blood in my body. The bullies stopped messing with me, and I became the one to cause and instill both fear and pain.
When I was eleven, my Hogwarts letter came, naturally. I was provided with funds from a scholarship or something that Hogwarts had for orphans like me. It was no surprise that when I purchased my wand, the core was that of a crushed werewolf claw. What was surprising was that I was Sorted into Gryffindor. As I came to realize, however, I did possess the Gryffindor characteristic of finding myself in trouble quite often, mainly because exploring the Forbidden Forest was extremely fascinating.
When I first started Hogwarts, I insisted on being called Conrí, and not Desmond. It was an Irish name, which meant “wolf king.” Desmond meant something stupid. I don’t even remember its meaning now. In my seventh year at Hogwarts, I have completely become Conrí and left Desmond behind. I still get myself landed in detention a lot, but I get excellent grades, particularly in Transfiguration, Ancient Runes, and, naturally, Astronomy. I’m not so good, however, at Care of Magical Creatures. It’s like the creatures know I’m a werewolf, and are afraid of me. …as they should be.”
