Beau knew that his family was unconventional. When everyone found out about Luka's father, he worried about what was going to happen with them. If Luka would insist that he was no longer part of the family, or if he would want to find the man who fathered him. Their mother said that there was another man out there who was Luka's half brother. Someone only a little older than Luka. His name was Rupert or something, and apparently Felix Satagori-Hedlund delivered him as a baby. Beau had been so proud of his older brother when nothing changed in the family. When they were still a happy family with all of the love possible between them. Luka just poured all of his emotions on it into his art and Beau hoped that his brother would talk to him if he needed it.
He knew that Luka would want to know all about Robyn. He would be curious about the young man who completely snared his brother's attentions. Luka was living in New York City with his girlfriend, Winni. She was a sweet girl, she made blown glass sculptures and Luka painted. Beau remembered the last time he visited them, there was no food in the entire apartment, but the art that they both made completely took his breath away. Beau thought that it was kinda cute that Harrow and Felix had been professors to his parents, and then Luka ended up dating one of their daughters.
When Luka was back on the farm, he was just another Southern boy full of charm. He could tend to the horses, he could do anything that he needed, but when he had a paintbrush in his hand he was a completely different person.
"Luka lives in New York now with Harrow's daughter Winnifyrd. They've been together forever. It's kinda cute actually." He knew that his younger brothers were probably breaking all of the hearts at Aridorn. His sister was going to have the hawk eye on her always. She was never allowed to talk to anyone of the opposite sex without one of her brothers swooping in.
"I just have to worry about students trying to break in to use my bed for privacy." Thankfully, Robyn was the only student who knew about it. He wanted to keep it that way and knew that he would be completely crushed if he came back and Robyn was there with some other guy. He had a feeling that Robyn was a good guy, that he wouldn't do that to him. He was enjoying his time with the other guy and it was something that he wanted so much more of.
"Yeah, five of us in four years. My parents apparently didn't have much else to do with their time." After Lennox was born, he was sure that his father got the procedure to stop making babies happen. He was sure that his parents had a tough time having so many kids within such a short amount of time and being as young as they were, but there was always so much love in their house that it was clear that they made the right choices.
"Yeah, mostly domestic. We were in Italy for a few years, then South Korea after that. My dad was a mechanic, so they sent him all over the place. My mom was a healer, so she was able to go where ever. She's mostly working on the farm now with the animals and morons who stick themselves with pitchforks." She mastered both magical and muggle healing and came in handy around the farm. No skidded knee went untreated when he was growing up.
"Your mom is Sparrow? Cool. My brother Wes was in love with her for years. He grew out of it... at least I think he did." When Robyn continued, he was sure that he got a concerned look when Robyn admitted that he couldn't hear anything in one ear. Was that why he got dizzy in the grass earlier?
"Have you always had the issue?" He asked, hoping that he wasn't being rude by asking. He didn't know what it would be like to grow up in a house where his father wasn't able to hear anything. If it would be weird having family dinners where the sign language flowed as much as Robyn's silver tongue.
