The sun was shining against the snow. The world was peaceful around her, and her body was going insane. Ivy had been going through new arrivals for the library when she realized that her water broke all over her shoes. The baby was en route and she could barely waddle herself to the hospital wing fast enough. It had been common knowledge around the school that she was pregnant, most knew a little bit about her relationships with Sebby and Sunny, but thankfully they had enough respect for the professors to not say anything about it. None of them questioned what they were all doing together, or demanded to know who the father was, or if she was going to raise the baby with one of them over the other. They were both the fathers of her baby. Seb might have contributed half of the DNA, but Sunny had been there just as much and loved the little Mango just as much.
”Miss Troisi, are you ready?” Ivy leaned back on the soft white bed and held onto her stomach,
“Can you please contact professors Monday and Nephosmanteia?” She knew that they both wanted to be there for the birth of the baby and she would hate to think that they would have to miss out on it because no one wanted to find them.
“They have to be here.” She insisted, trying to keep her breathing under control. They had changed her out of her dress for the hospital gown and she even tied her hair up to keep it off her neck.
A healer in training ran off to find the professors, earning a thankful smile from the librarian. She wanted her little Mango already and more than that, she wanted her boys there to participate in the moment with her.
