Melissa is very kind and compassionate; charitable and pure in her own way, and knowledgeable. She cares deeply for her family, and hates to see their conflict, but as she's very avid on non-confrontation, she will more often than not opt to just stand on the sidelines and stay out of it rather than get involved. Level-headed and calm, Melissa trusts logic in most situations. When it is needed she will stand her fight, even if that means giving up on logic and dueling, even if she sucks at it.

Melissa has also a very soft nature, and she doesn't lash out and is not easily angered. She's very in-tune with nature and herbs. She does get highly irritated when people are egocentric or even bullies, and never underestimate a woman telling her they are lower then men. You will have a problem with her.

Things has changed so much for Melissa Webber lately. Her life she lived was something she was proud of. It started a few years ago, a very long time ago some would say 27 years ago. Her father Jonathan and her mother Maria were both happy and living in San Francisco. Her father worked in the ministry at the department of misuse of magic and her mother was a nurse. she worked 3 days in a week when she got Melissa on a cold spring in April. Being the first child Melissa had a great life spending time with her father and mother and her uncle. Her uncle was a wizard just as her father and mother but her uncle worked as a car seller in the muggle world, even if the Webber family didn't like that.

The thoughts of her uncle slowly made tears appear on the eyes of Melissa. How did she miss her uncle much. the last day she seen him was when she was at the age of 11. Just before she went to Salem. She and Kane shopped at hawthorne village for her stuff and Kane brought her home. It was not a few minutes later the news struck as Kane passed away in a car crash. The news was bad it really was for her, but she had to move on. that is what he wanted. So Melissa knew what she had to do as she went to Salem. By the surprise she didn't get into the house as her mother or her father, she got in the house of her uncle who was in Nauset.

Now Melissa was older at the age of 27 as she looked back around the school that was standing in front of her. Things changed after all those years. she could see it, and she was right about it. While she became older and wiser, she missed her younger years, but years past by and now she was back at Salem again. Walking around the corridors reminded her of how she spend her years inside the walls of the school. The subject she was great in was Charms. Her love for the spells and the practice made her a great student. While she knew her spells, it was different then using Potions or even History of Magic. Those stuff never interested her but she was okay in them. Now that she thought about it, Melissa had a few friends in Salem. She spend most of the time with them and if she wasn't with them she was in the library reading or making her homework. Yes Melissa was a "nerd" who liked to be around books, learn new spells and even be around with friends.

It was not until she learned about the dueling club were she could try to test herself. She was a decent dueler, not that great but she could manage to protect herself in a fight and even fight back, even if she doesn't like dueling or fighting. Melissa knew what she had to do within all those 7 years she has been spending. she became a tutor, trying to teach students in charms the subject she was good at. Not sooner or later she graduated in the same classroom Melissa was standing. The highest score she could get was in Charms, after that came Herbology and Muggle Studies. Her essay on cars was for the professor a great view in the eyes. All she knew from her uncle kane.

Melissa got out of the flashbacks of her history as she looked around. This was it, she was ready to take another challenge. The challenge to start all over again but not now on the side as a student afraid to fail for anything, but as a healer and substitute Professor trying to teach the students something special. A new beginning was there for her and trying to help as much as she could.
