Overall Personality: Jasmine has one of the most outgoing personalities there is in the world. This is something that often has people flocking to her like moths to the flame. She goes out of her way to make people feel comfortable, but sometimes it actually ends up doing the very opposite. She's quick to welcome people into her circle of friends and is just as quick to stand up to the bullies that try to make their presence known. Jasmine is one for defending the 'little people', if you will; those ones that don't have the courage to stand up for themselves. She doesn't always fight fire with fire, though. She's a good kid and this means that rather than hex you, she'd be the one that would get a teacher in order to break up whatever happens to be going on. [break][break]
On the downside, Jazz has issues sometimes feeling like she's not good enough for people and this can cause her to act out. These times are few and far between, but they do tend to happen on occasion. Jasmine doesn't do well when she's being ignored and will often try to do something positive to bring attention to herself. These are usually some kind of conversation starter which brings us back around to that outgoing personality and the ease with which she makes friends.[break][break]

Overall History: Jasmine Dubois is the daughter of Pierre and Esmeralda Dubois and is one of the youngest of the four Dubois children, born only a few moments before her identical twin sister, Madeline. From a young age, Jazz was the kid that was wandering off to make friends with the other kids and sometimes even people older than her. It could have easily turned into some kind of stranger danger case, but it never did. That was, in part, because she had not only her parents, but her older siblings looking out for her as well. Despite the few years that are in between she and her elder siblings, they had always been close. Their family was very close knit and that was largely to due with Esmeralda's Roma background. The Cajun that Pierre possessed had quite a bit to do with that as well.

When Jazz was six, she had her first sign of magic. She ended up charming some of her twin's artwork in order to make it dance and act just as any magical image would act. The family wasn't surprised, but they were impressed since it was more than what many kids her age were actually able to do. It would be a few short years later when she and Maddie would finally get their acceptance letters to Salem. Jazz was thrilled because she would be able to spend time with her siblings and not have to be away from them for half of the year. Upon her arrival, Jasmine was sorted into Paomet house and much to her dismay, Madeline wound up in Hawthorne. The different houses did little to actually keep the twins apart, though.

As Jasmine began to find her place in the school, she also began to grow into her personality. She was loud and friendly, dragging people into her inner circle when it looked like all they wanted to do was shy away. Her main target was always her twin. Maddie was shy and didn't really like to be the center of attention like Jazz did, but that didn't stop the older twin from trying to share in the popularity that she had found for herself. Now that she's going to be entering her fifth year, Jasmine is ready to explore her options and see about figuring out what she might want to do after she finishes school.[break][break]
