She's far less concerned with her own well being than she is with those of other people. While there are a lot of people at her age that still rely on their parents, Cait has long since been independent and is looking at summer jobs. Overall History: Caitlyn was born to Lucas Morgan and Michelle Belfast and was the product of a teenage pregnancy. Her parents had been seeing one another for a couple of years before her birth and after she was born and the pair graduated, they were quick to wed. By that time, Caitlyn was a toddler and the flower girl for their wedding. It was a small ceremony, full of close friends and family. Afterwards, the pair purchased a home in Wisconsin, where Michelle's family was from. It allowed them to have some help with Caitlyn whenever they needed a babysitter or just encountered something that they weren't sure they were fit to handle.

It was over the next couple of years that Caitlyn began to show signs of magic, from making things move to turning things on and off. There seemed to be no limit to the things that she would do and most of the time her parents didn't mind because it made her laughed and that was something that they loved. When Caitlyn turned eleven, she got her acceptance letter to Salem. The girl couldn't have been more thrilled and her parents couldn't have been happier for her. They were quick to take her out to get all of the things that she would need and that included a Maine Coon cat that she named Dexter.

In her first year, she found herself sorted into Nauset house and was quick to make friends among that house. Cait was almost always found with her nose in a book and the times that she wasn't, she was engaged in conversations that served to boost her likability. Cait quickly learned how to embrace her quirkiness so that no one could use it to hurt her. It was a trait that she had seemingly inherited from her father and it made her proud to share that with him. It was in her third year that she had her first falling out with another student, a boy that had been picking on her friends. That wasn't something Cait was fond of and when he didn't stop when she asked, she punched him and ended up breaking his nose. That resulted in a detention, but it was definitely worth it.

Her fourth year went off without much of a hitch and for that she was glad. Everything was going the way that she wanted it to and the teenager was confident that she was finally starting to find her place in the world, or at least within the halls of Salem. However, it was while she was on her way home from a friend's house over the summer that everything changed. Her parents were on their way to pick her up when they were attacked by dark wizards, wizards that were suspected of being Death Eaters. They left no survivors and as a result, Caitlyn was left an orphan. With no remaining family to take care of her, she's looking at ending up in the foster system, which she's trying her hardest to avoid. [break][break]
