Shea walked through Aridorn and knew that the campus was becoming more familiar to her. Even though she didn't attend the school, she was becoming more and more interested in spending time with the Swede she met during the party Alya dragged her to. Today wasn't about seeing him though, it was about Jamie. She ran her fingers through her blonde hair and knew that things were complicated with Jamie. They had grown up together. They played side by side for years, she told him all of her secrets and she knew his by heart. They were everything and then his family was caught. Rather than living with knowing about what happened so he could learn from their mistakes, they wiped his memory clean. She had to pretend like she just met her best friend when they were in Australia. it broke her heart to tell him some of the stories that he was part of, but never named in. When she told him about her best friend who died, when she cried for this person who she knew so well in her life, he would give her comfort. Never knowing that she was talking about him.
Walking up the stairs to the proper dorm, she knocked on the correct door and waited for him to answer. There were a few times when his roommate Sebastian would answer, but he was nice enough. Usually letting her hang out until Jamie got back. He was a sweet guy, often attempting to entertain her with his stories. She shifted her weight from one foot to another, knowing that she should have broken them in more before deciding to wear them. They were exquisite Christian Louboutins, but she knew that Jamie was worth the blisters on her heels.
She knocked again, curious if anyone was in the dorm. It was still early in the semester and she could feel the weather turning warmer. She wasn't sure how he was able to bounce back and forth with his quidditch schedule in one hemisphere and his school one in another. She always lectured him like a concerned mother about stretching himself too thin, but it usually fell on deaf ears. A part of her was just worried that he would eventually get his memory back in a fit of exhaustion and realize that she had been lying to him for years. She sighed and waited for someone to answer the door and tried to push all of the what-if-questions from her head.
