Overall Personality: Much like everyone else, Tyreese has various personality traits that seem to come out depending on what people he happens to be around. Where friends are concerned, he is loyal and generally caring, yet he isn't afraid to get in your face and tell you exactly what he thinks of whatever happens to come out of your mouth. It's safe to say that he isn't exactly 'delicate' with feelings, but he doesn't exactly trample all over them, either. He was raised to say what was on his mind, which makes him more blunt that what the average person happens to be. This isn't him trying to be rude or heartless, but just to be honest. The sooner people realize that, the better they'll be feeling about themselves. Another thing to note is that Tyr has been known to be something of a manipulator. He doesn't feel that he is above using whatever measures are at his disposal in order to get what he wants. Granted, he doesn't always come out triumphant, but you can be damn sure that he'll be doing everything possible to make himself the victor. He will pull out every trick in the book if it means that he has even the slightest chance of besting you at something. In that sense, he is extremely competitive. You could say that he has a compulsive need to be better than the majority of the planet's population. What no one seems to realize is that this is really just the need he has to feel good about himself.

Tyr loves to push people and test their boundaries. If you say no, he'll say yes and keep pushing the matter. This isn't always because he likes to win, though competitive nature would suggest that was the reasoning. More often than not, it just happens to be because he loves the reactions that he gets. There really aren't a lot of things that get under his skin and annoy him. However, there are a couple that I think deserve noting. He hates it when people presume to know exactly what they're talking about when, in reality, they haven't got the faintest idea. People making presumptions about him, or anything, really irritates him.

Life wasn't always easy for Tyreese, but when he was young, it sure looked like things always would be. He had a mother and a father who cared for him immensely and everything was perfect. He was only a couple years old when he was given a brother, Puck. It's safe to say that there wasn't really much of an opinion on the younger kid at that point in time, but as the days went on, he grew to really care for his younger brother. He was around six years old when his parents were divorced and, at the time, he didn't understand the reasoning behind it. He didn't know what it meant when his father called his mother a whore and said that she cheated on him. All Tyr really knew was that he now had another younger sibling to deal with; this time, a sister.

Tyr was immediately protective over Billie and even though his father didn't treat her like family, the brothers did. It didn't matter if she had a different father, because their mother had given birth to her. Even if the woman hadn't, she was being raised with them. Tyr took it upon himself to teach Billie a lot of the basic things, like tying her shoe and helping her out with numbers and the alphabet. Things grew a little strained when Billie began to show magical abilities, which lead to the revelation of the wizarding world. It was amazing and he never would have guessed that such a thing existed.

At seventeen, Tyr went off to the university to pursue a degree in English, which eventually lead to him gaining a role as a teaching assistant for the same person that helped to teach him. While he does that during the day, at night he's often out on the city with his brother, making art with paints and music.
