Ariel is the type who is all about current trends. Ze loves fashion and baking. Honestly hirs parents think it’s all a waist of time. Not to mention ze is constantly living in the shadow of three very well off siblings. When his twin turned out to be Squib there was even more pressure set on hirm to redeem the family name.

Friends are a strange thing for Ariel. Ze needs people more than ze wants them. Riel doesn’t do well with being alone, ze also doesn’t like being pulled along for this or that silly thing. Though parties are fun ze doesn’t want to have to deal with expectations. Like, if ze goes out with someone ze doesn’t want to fallow them to the stores that they want to go to. Ariel would much rather just do what ze wants and meet them later. That is not what a good friend makes though. So ze deals with what is expected. Fake a smile and go along with it.

ze is kind of terribly shallow to. Every person ze chooses to associate with has to be pleasing. Though smart. In other words Ariel could be called hard to impress. Though ze won’t exactly ignore someone he doesn’t want to be around. It will be a lot of back handed comments and using. So yes Ariel is not what someone would call nice.

So there are plenty of people who wouldn’t like hirm. That is perfectly fine with Ariel. They are just jealous or not good enough anyway. Ze is actually pining for a companion that ze lost and because of that ze is comparing every single person to hirs twin.

Love is a thing that Ariel wants but doesn’t know how to receive or keep. Ze dates people who seem to like him but often is used. Ariel had this problem of attaching hirmself to people. Though ze seems high and mighty when ze is single and away from any sort of boy friend or girlfriend ze might have when ze is with someone that is hirs world. Ariel is more of an object than a person when he is in a relationship.

Childhood made Ariel a very upside down person. Ze had always had high expectations shoved on hirm that ze could never live up to. When hirs crutch was taken from hirm ze was sent falling and hasn’t really ever recovered from that.

Overall History: Most of hirs life Ariel had another half. Ze was born with hirs best friend. It was hirs twin. Ariel grew up being a pair. The boys also had three older siblings but the only brother that mattered was Killian. When Ariel started to show magic Killian didn’t and that tore them apart.

At first Ariel was mad, ze would rather be with hirs brother. It was expected that ze go to Hogwarts and do nothing less than Exceptional. Ze would be a Ravenclaw like the rest of hirs siblings. Riel didn’t care. Ze couldn’t leave hirs best friend behind. Unfortunately Ariel didn’t have a choice. Killian was disowned and put into the foster care system. Riel was sent to Hogwarts feeling lost and defeated.

Ze was sorted into Ravenclaw as was expected. For hirs first year Ariel didn’t do the best. Ze was depressed and not used to not having hirs brother with hirm. When they were little Killian was the one who spoke for them. Ze was the social one. Whenever Riel got hurt ze would run to hirs brother. Kilian would chase down and make sure that whoever had hurt hirs brother knew to never do that again. Now Ariel was alone and ze had no idea how to be just hirmself.

Slowly ze got over it and started to find hirs own way, though the empty feeling never going away. With every trip home hirs room felt cold and lonely. Hirs parents were furious when hirs first year marks turned out to be subpar. So Ariel learned to keep his grades up even with hirs identity crises going on.

The longer ze was apart from Kilian the more numb to it all Ariel got. Ze became meaner and shallower than ze needed to be. But still ze found a love for fashion and cupcakes to fill the lonely hours ze had. Still Ariel plans on finding Killian one day and reuniting with the best friend that was ripped away from hirm.
