Overall Personality: Hugo is the type who is a social butterfly. People are not hard for him to get along with. He is out going and personable. He tends to fit into most groups of people. There is kind of a need to fit in behind it all. Growing up with a large family might have a little bit to do with that. The boy has a charming smile and knows how to use it, he wants to be known as more than just his knack for doing well in school.

He likes to help people. Other’s people’s problems tend to be something that he likes to focus on, rather than his own. This also means that as good at making friends as he is Hugo doesn’t have a whole lot of close friends. Even with his family that seems to just be a gaggle of close knit cousins and siblings he tends to stand to the side and do his own thing. Rose being one of the few that he feels really close to, she is his sister so it’s easy.

He was always told that he took after his mother more than his fun loving father. Though he is good at school and learning is something enjoys Hugo actually loves writing. Sitting in his room alone with a note book and classical music playing lightly in the back ground is a dream for the boy. His writing is super personal to him though so he keeps it quite and on the down low. The quite lonely boy thing seems is not something that people know about. There are a couple of secrets that this boy is keeping.

Around his house Hugo is known as a shameless flirt. He is a serial dater. There is rarely a time that Hugo is seen single. One girl is gone and another is by his side as fast as he can get one. He is always kind and sweet to the girls but they never get too far. Hugo says it’s because he just wants to give them a chance. As poor of an excuse as that is so far it seems to be working. Really Hugo is covering up the fact that he is gay. He is nervous about how his family would react to it, and the possibility of getting picked on.

Hugo actually is fairly terrified about being rejected. He could never see his parents or sister completely disowning him but he doesn't want to let them down. Being the boy in his little part of the Weasley’s it feels like there is a pressure to continue to pass on the ginger genes, regardless of the cousins that are running around.

Overall History:Hugo’s childhood was a happy one. He had great parents and a lovely older sister, along with countless cousins and aunts and uncles to spend time with. Sure he and Rose had their moments, but it was normal sibling stuff. He was a little brother with a father and uncles who were notorious pranksters. So naturally he would pull little pranks on Rose, even if he was terrible at them.

He would love to read books with his mother, especially little fiction stories. That was their thing, every night they would cuddle in an over stuffed chair and read. When he got older he would read to his mom. There were times he would dig up little stories that he wrote and read them to her. She would smile and love every bit of it.

When Hugo was nine it was time to send his sister off to school. Both of them were told amazing stories about Hogwarts and their time there. Of course that meant that both Rose and Hugo were ecstatic to go to the school themselves. Going to Diagon ally so that Rose could get all her supplies was amazing. His eyes were bright and everything was fascinating. He was jealous that his sister got to go and not him. He was told that he would be going soon enough. Rose would write him while she was away.

They would write back and forth, as promised. It was something that Hugo loved, he would poor everything he could think of into their letters. Those two years seemed to fly by, and it was a good thing. Their little family home seemed empty without his sister to play with and talk to. Hugo was taken to get his supplies and it was exciting. His first day was everything he imagined it to be, up to the house he was sorted into.

Hugo fit well into his house, he quickly picked up on his lessons. He was smart, like his mother. School was easy, his social life however, was not as second nature. He wanted to be liked, so he learned how to please people. Having as much family also at the school as he does makes it a little easier. Another thing was dating. He had some feeling that were….strange. He wasn’t sure how to handle them. Naturally that meant just do what people expected. Please them and they won’t ask questions. Underneath all the dating he found someone that helped make sense of his feelings. Unfortunately Hugo wasn’t comfortable coming out with it. The two agreed and the relationship is a secret. Hugo is finishing up his fifth year with top grades and juggling everything else.
