Overall Personality: Eloise is basically an all around sweet girl. She's one of the girls who people just trust instantly and sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's horrible. She loves that she's able to have close friendships, but sometimes it makes people resent her. They assume that she's had some charmed life and it's frustrating.

Eloise tends to stick to her few friends while at Salem, knowing that she's able to go to them for anything in the world. When she's at school she's always getting into trouble with her friends, but can usually talk her way out of it. She's an addict to sweets and candies, so if there is any chance for her to sneak off of the grounds to replace her candy stash, she's going to take it. If some of those sugar high nights include sliding around the halls in her socks, it's just a perfect night.

When she's home, Eloise is her father's shadow. They have caramel popcorn movie nights and she would go to his classes while he taught. The phrase "daddy's girl" does not even begin to describe them. He is her mother, her father, and her best friend. As she's getting older she's hoping to have her time at Salem be time away from him to allow her life to take shape without having the potential of her father being disappointed in her.

With birthday coming around, she's figured out that she wants to pursue a career in acting, and hopes that her PhD scientist father can be okay with that.

Overall History: Eloise was born in San Francisco, California to Lucy and Riley Echo. When she was born, there was actually some doubt about if Riley was the biological father of Eloise. Lucy had been having an affair for a long time and while Riley could have easily questioned the paternity, or even force Lucy to undergo a paternity test. He never did.

Instead Eloise was the light of his life and Lucy took a step back from the maternal role to allow Riley to care for her. When Eloise was two, Lucy was killed in an accident. Eloise has no memories of her, but knows that if she ever wants to know about her mother she could just ask her father.

When Eloise was young, her father became a professor at a university in the science department. The two made due with the life that they were given. Trips to the beach together, times when they could just watch movies over and over. It was wonderful.

Eloise was about eight when she had her first sign of magic and she found out about her father and the family he came from. She found out there was a magical world that her father was keeping her from and it terrified her. A world where people killed each other over bloodlines? People who really could turn into wolves and vampires, witches and wizards? It was terrifying. Elly had been convinced that she would just never leave her house, never go to school and never become a witch. Until her father brought her to the local wizarding community.

They walked along the shops, both of them fascinated with the world that they were able to share in with Eloise's abilities.

Her first year at Salem was the year before. When she sat under the willow, the branches light up with a pale green color, signaling Nauset house. Before she could even go home for her first weekend to tell her father all about her house and classes, she found out that he moved schools to be closer to her.

Now she doesn't feel so alone in the school, since she knows she can make a short trip and talk to the one person who was always there for her.
